Your wish for more Dragon Ball FighterZ gameplay is granted with vids from Maximilian and Tasty Steve

The hype and anticipation for Dragon Ball FighterZ is reaching critical mass, with the game’s closed beta being just beyond the horizon. Though we’ve seen plenty of footage and character breakdowns since Gamescom 2017 — including an ESL tournament — we’ve still got gameplay coming down the pipe, as DBFZ was playable at both GameStop Expo and PAX West. As he did with some high-level Marvel Vs. Capcom: Infinite matches, UltraChenTV’s “Tasty” Steve Scott was on the scene to capture some great high-level DBFZ footage from some notable names in the fighting game community. You can check out the matches below:

Finally, we’ve also got some more footage of Maximilian Dood battling developers at Bandai Namco Entertainment’s U.S. offices, as he puts his team of Future Trunks/Perfect Cell/Android 16 through the ringer.

Dragon Ball FighterZ is scheduled for a February 2018 release on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Steam PC, in both standard and CollectorZ Editions. Sign-ups for the game’s closed beta test can be found here, which will run from September 16-17th, with a series of three four-hour sessions each day. An open beta is planned for sometime in January 2018.
